Chithra Raj – Program Director
Mrs. Chithra Raj earned her Child Development Associate from Washtenaw College in Ann Arbor - Michigan, USA. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Madras Medical College – College of Nursing, India.
Before forming Arise 'n' Shine Mrs. Chithra worked at leading childcare centers in North America, where she earned several recognitions and awards for her outstanding contribution to child development program. Mrs. Chithra constantly finds out ways to provide developmentally appropriate programs for children that focus on the process of learning and help them enjoy successful experiences.
In her early days as Staff Nurse and Nursing Instructor Ms. Chithra spent many years in Child Psychology, researched about child behavior and relationships.
Child Psychology has always been the favorite subject for Ms. Chithra. With this background and foundation she developed a passion towards child development and hence formed Arise 'n' Shine preschool program. She is also an active member of NAEYC.
Raj Ganesh – Managing Director
Mr. Raj Ganesh has 20 years of corporate business management experience working with leading multi national information technology companies in North America and India. Mr. Raj is a visionary and is instrumental in the growth of Arise 'n' Shine. He is primarily involved in developing strategy, programs and road map and building successful teams at Arise ‘n’ Shine.
Raj believes that the education in the 21st century needs to be radically different from the 19th century models of education to meet global standards and expectations in terms of culture, value and excellence. “Global collaboration is becoming a new source of competitive advantage. It is imperative to provide an environment for children to experience different culture and values at the early stages of development, so they develop the sense of respect and appreciation and prepares them to meet the global expectations”, says Raj Ganesh.
Mr. Raj and Mrs. Chithra launched Arise 'n' Shine - India operation in September 2009. Their goal is to bring the best of both worlds and make it available for children across India in the form of an exploratory program and prepare them for an exciting journey.
