For Sridula, attending Arise ‘n’ Shine during her preschool years has been the most memorable and academically rewarding period. Now, Sridula who just completed her 1st grade has turned out to be a voracious reader and writer. Reading and writing in our opinion are very important for enhanced cognitive development especially for comprehension and articulation. This habit should be attributed to the unbridled efforts of Ms. Chitra who was able to instill fundamental values and principles from both Indian as well as American educational systems at an early age. Ms. Chitra with her combined experience encouraged Sridula to be an independent reader and writer, a quality that she can cherish for years to come. "We enrolled our daughter Naomi at Arise 'n' Shine pre-school center in Ann Arbor for two years. Before she started her preschool – as every parent does, we researched several pre-schools and day care centers around Ann Arbor. We chose Arise 'n' Shine specifically for their curriculum and for their fair teacher to student’s ratio. The curriculum was a pleasant surprise as no other pre-school centers offered detailed program for the whole academic year.
The two years Naomi spent at Arise 'n' Shine allowed her to smoothly transition to the elementary school and she always stood ahead of her peers in the first grade. She was also sent for advanced class due to her strong foundation in learning.
We like to thank each and every staff member and the management of Arise 'n' Shine for their dedicated effort in nurturing every child, building a strong foundation in their learning and social skills.
